CINCINNATI, OHIO – March [date], 2020 – MGBlair, exclusive U.S. distributor of five globally-sourced outdoor hospitality furnishing collections, is now a Certified Partner in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism program (C-TPAT). Through a rigorous and lengthy application process, MGBlair demonstrated its ability to identify any security vulnerabilities and mitigate risks in the import of its outdoor hospitality furnishings from Central America and Asia. “Being recognized as a C-TPAT partner adds another level of credibility to our business and our speed-to-market should increase as a result of the partner benefits”, noted Woodrow Plunkett, Managing Partner, MGBlair. The C-TPAT is a voluntary program that was created in 2001 and has over 11,000 partners spanning all categories of trade and covers U.S. importers and exporters and all transit types. Through the C-TPAT certification, MGBlair’s excellence in security practices are recognized as being at the highest levels in the industry.
